How to be Saved

FOUR THINGS YOU MUST ACCEPT TO GO TO HEAVEN

1. Accept that you are a sinner!
Romans 3:10 “…There is none righteous, no, not one.”
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

2. Accept that there is a penalty for your sin Р Death!
Romans 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that ¬†all have sinned.”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Ezekiel 18:4 “…the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”

3. Accept God’s provision of Jesus as the payment for your sins!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Romans 5:8 “But God commandeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

4. Accept by faith what Jesus Christ did for you as the only way to heaven!
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
John 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life: but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
John 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation: but is passed from death unto life.”

If you are willing to accept these four truths then the next step is to ask Jesus Christ to be your personal Savior.
Acts 16:31 “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10: 9-10, 13 “That if you shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you are ready to ask Jesus Christ to be your personal Savior then the following prayer can be a guide to help you call on Christ. Pray something like this:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I thank You that You love me and you died to take away my sins. I admit that I am a sinner and I need You as my Savior. Come into my heart right now and forgive my sins. I trust in You to be my Savior, and I depend on You to take me to heaven when I die. Lord please help me to live for you each day. Thank You for hearing my prayer. Amen.”

What Should I Do Now?

1. Be assured of eternal life.
1 John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

2. Share your decision with a local church pastor and body and be baptized.
Acts 2:41 “They they that gladly received his word were baptized…”

3. Begin to grow in your walk with God through regular prayer, Bible study, and church attendance.
Acts 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

4. Share your faith with other.
Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
